General Information

  • All registrations require Available Insurance, specific to the patient visit, indicated, i.e., checked off, on the Insurance tab:
  • The Insurance selected is added to the visit order for billing purposes.
  • If an insurance is not selected, the account insurance will default to “SELF”. This will cause significant finance errors as “SELF” is not a defined or approved insurance.

                   

  • All provincial/territorial health care policy numbers are to be recorded in 3 fields.
