Mental Health - Clozapine

Clozapine is an antipsychotic that requires specialized monitoring and registration with a monitoring program. These programs will assign each patient a unique identification number used during communication between the health care provider and the monitoring program to ensure patient confidentiality. Bloodwork monitoring follows a strict schedule and guidelines, which for the most part are the same for every patient, but in some cases can be individualized for the patient by the monitoring program haematologist.
