CWS Scheduling Information for Hold Queue Orders
We now have the ability to add Scheduling information to orders via a new Edit SCH detail button.
Summary of Change:
From Patient Mode or the Hold Queue worklist (if applicable) you will see the new Edit SCH Detail or View SCH Detail. You have to select an order or order(s) to have the Edit available.
This field now allows you to edit fields about managing the Hold Queue Worklist orders. By selecting one or more orders for one patient at a time, users can edit the following fields:
- Priority - Look up the CWS Waitlist Priority dictionary.
- Follow-up Date - Enter a Follow-up Date that is more appropriate for the patient when the projected Service Date is not viable.
- Follow-up Phone Number—Select the best phone number from the patient's list to call when following up at a later date.
- Preferred Earliest Time - Enter the patient's preferred earliest time that they can be scheduled.
- Preferred Latest Time - Enter the patient's preferred latest time that they can be scheduled.
- Exclude Days - Check mark the days of the week the patient prefers not to be scheduled.
- Scheduling Follow-up Comment - Enter comments to assist with scheduling at a later date for pertinent information regarding issues with scheduling the selected procedure(s).
- EDIT REASON- HAS TO BE SET UP IN THE REASON DICTIONARY (NOT MANDATORY)
- Scheduling/Provider Comment - has not been tested to see where it is entered or how it flows.
This can assist schedulers when looking on the waitlist HOLD QUEUE option for specific orders they would like to book. You will now be able to filter, for example, Scheduling Priority if entered.
When in the Hold Queue worklist, if there is scheduling information attached to an order when you choose VIEW, you will see the following options
