The Nurse will Acknowledge the discharge order along with any other orders that will be needed for discharge.

3. When the nurse is ready to document discharge information or confirm the patient has been discharged, they will make sure their patient is selected (highlighted green) and click discharge at the top of the screen

4. This will open the Discharge Plan screen and the nurse can see if the prescription has been finalized *** the MRP must finalize the prescriptions before discharge***

5. When the prescription has been finalized, the nurse or ward clerk can print the discharge packet.

                  a. Click on the printer image in the top right corner of the discharge plan screen.

                  b. Select “Save and Print Packet"
