Documenting a Note (Nursing, Allied Health)

From the black navigation bar, click the dropdown beside the Document button.

Select the note category. The note will file in this category on the Nurse/Allied health tab of the chart. The Standard list contains all available note categories. Use the Manage Favorites button to select frequently used categories.

 

 

The note template will open. 

  • Before you begin documenting, click the Text button to select a Focus for the note. The Focus is required as this will provide a title to the note and also includes the SOAPE note format. 
  • ‘Focus: ADL’ has been selected for the example below. If you cannot find 
  • To change the date/time, click Detail at the side. Notes will need to be back timed to reflect the actual time that an event occurred. You can then toggle back to note if needed.
  • Click OK to save the Note. Some users are required to enter a PIN prior to saving the note.
